Gate Tower - Sibiu

The Gate Tower is a point of interest located in Sibiu, Romania. The tower is located at the crossing of streets Scarilor and Odobescu. It is one of the best preserved elements of the third fortification precincts surrounding the Upper Town and was built in the 14th century. The two-level, prism-shaped construction is built on a rectangular plane. The first level is vaulted and it enabled access to the town.
