The Black Tower is a point of interest in
Brasov,
Romania.
Located near the Ironworkers' Bastion, on a large rock on Warthe Hill, the Black Tower sits on an area of 50msq, and has a height of 11m. Its walls at the base are 2m thick. It has six aiming points on each face and three attack rows. Inside there are three levels. At one point the tower was linked to the fortress through a drawbridge to the Ironworkders' Bastion. The tower dates back to the XV century and was built at the same time as the
White Tower.
