The Carpenters Tower - Sibiu

The Carpenters' Tower is a point of interest in Sibiu, Romania.


Also built in the 15th century, the tower has a circular shaped basement, separated from the next part through a pronounced cornice. From this level, the tower gets the shape of an octagonal prism, ending in its upper side in a relieved part, propped on brackets with black-oil holes between their arches. The Carpenters' Tower was restaurated in 1967 and 2007.
