Reduta Cultural Center

Reduta Cultural Center has been the cultural center of Brasov since the 18th century. The current building was inaugurated in 1893, replacing the old one that had to be demolished in 1892 as a result of severe wear and tear.
Today, the Center hosts hundreds of shows each year and offers space for rehearsals for various artists and bands. Among other events, the Center recently hosted (in May) the European Film Festival organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute.
