Sibiu International Airport (SBZ) is the second busiest airport in the Transylvania region and the fifth one in Romania (with 165.057 travelers in 2008). It's located on DN1, 6 km west of the center of Sibiu. Companies Austrian Airlines, Atlas Jet Airlines, Blue Air, Carpatair, and Lufthansa operate on this airport.
